Workshop: ART, FASHION, HERITAGE AND FUTURE: from retail to product design
From inspiration, to product design, to new retail experiences: beauty comes from beauty.
To create beautiful products, we need to understand where beauty comes from. In this session we will explore the moment and the origin of inspiration which, sprouting from art and heritage, reaches and inspires the consumer when he both sees a product and he interacts with the retail environment.
In this session MICAM X will be an inspiration centre, a spark that ignites an open debate that accompanies this change, from a cultural point of view.
Federico is an innovator and an entrepreneur. MSc in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan in 1997, he works with his teams to innovate and promote “innovative sustainability” business models in Fashion, Luxury, Interior Design, Automotive and other industries. He has developed specific technical skills in: Applied Research, Biotechnologies, Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Risk Management, Technology Transfer.
He is also the curator of Innovation Square by Lineapelle (www.fashioninnovation.it).
Furio is CEO of Accademia Costume & Moda since 2013 and Deputy Chairman of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, the Italian Fashion Schools Association, since 2018.
Between 2006-13 Furio worked for Mediobanca as Head of the Equity Investments Group and for Mediobanca Securities in the equities division.
In 2004-06, Furio set-up Francini & Partners, adviser to Zebedee Capital (UK-based Pan-European long/short investment fund).
Between 1995-2004 worked as an Equity Analyst (NatWest Markets, Banco Santander, UBS Investment Bank) with increasing responsibilities analyzing different sectors (Industrials, Consumers, Media/Internet, Banks) receiving various international awards.
Furio earned his BA in Business Administration from John Cabot University in Rome.
